Our Class Rule

One Word: RESPECT

RESPECT FOR SELF

Be prepared, on time, and be present (mentally as well as physically). This is the same job requirement that others would expect of you when you are employed.
Dress appropriately

Bring your class materials to class (notebook, pencils, textbook, completed homework)

Do not be afraid to ask questions or say you do not know.

There are no dumb questions in this class. This is respect for your own thoughts and feelings.

RESPECT FOR OTHERS

Respect other people, their questions and concerns.

Only one person speaking at a time.
(We will listen to what you have to say.)

All students must sign out and sign in upon return.

No playing computer games on calculators or on computers. Note: Calculators used for games during class time will be erased of all memory.

RESPECT FOR SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY

This is respect for King Philip High School, the physical environment, as well as the community we live in.

RESPECT FOR SUBJECT

This includes the safety of what we are dealing with as well as the ethics (right and wrong) of the subject matter.

Safety for each person is always a first priority. (In classroom, laboratory, etc.).
